Asterisk How to prevent study burnout

Have you been there? Your eyes lids are feeling heavy, you keep reading the same sentence over and over again not knowing what it’s even saying. Study burnout happens to everyone, here are a few tips and tricks to help combat that just a bit.

 

1.Do NOT study more than 45 minutes at a time.

 

2. For every 45 minutes you study take at least a 15 minute break and walk around. It’s best if you can completely leave the area where you are studying and get some fresh air.

 

3. Instead of active studying re-write your notes. This can help give your brain a little break while still exposing you to the study material.

 

4. Get some SLEEP! It is so important to sleep. No, that all nighter is not going to help you pass your exam.

 

These are just a few of the top tips to prevent study burnout. I hope these help you in the future.
